Presentation by Speaker Doug Martin
DOUG MARTIN is a Lexington attorney and 10th District Representative to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council. He has worked for several of Kentucky's largest law firms, including Greenbaum, Doll & McDonald in Louisville, and the former Stoll, Keenon & Park in Lexington. His areas of practice include commercial real estate, business law, immigration and nonprofit law. His acquisition work includes Turfland Mall, the Woodford County Hospital and the former PNC Bank Building, and his lending work includes Champions Golf Course, numerous radio stations, and The Campbell House. Doug served as General Counsel for the Cabinet for Economic Development during the Jones Administration, where he wrote laws creating a number of Kentucky's financial incentive programs. Doug is a frequent author and speaker on real estate and business law topics, and serves as chair of the UK Real Estate Law Institute and serves on the program committee for the UK Business Law Institute.
