Habitat for Humanity needs you! The 2008 MBAB Habitat Build begins Friday March 7th. The build site is 380 Roosevelt in Lexington and the home is for Irisha Tolliver and her three children.

This is your opportunity to give back to the Lexington community and have a lot of fun doing it. We need 20 volunteers per day skilled or unskilled, there's a job for you! Click here to download the calendar for our project. Highlighted in yellow is the number of volunteers we still need for that day. Just below that number is the name to contact to register. Please call that person in the next few days with your email address and phone number. They'll communicate all the information necessary. Even if you can only make it for half a day, you'll be glad you did.

Schedule:

  • Arrive at 8:15 - Mandatory registration on site
  • Lunch 12:00 - Provided
  • 3:30 - Worksite cleanup
  • 4:00 - end of workday

Please come rain or shine. Only extreme weather will cancel jobsite work.

Attire:

Hat, gloves, tool belt or apron (if you have one), hand tools (they will be provided if you don't have them), long pants, no open toed shoes.
